AMG GT Black Series maintenance
Fluid service and wheel alignment
Even among supercars, some models are seldom seen. A particularly rare sight in Korea, this AMG GT Black Series came in for maintenance.
The Black Series stood at the top of the AMG GT range at its launch, with a 730 PS V8 and aerodynamics derived from the GT3 race car. This visit covered engine oil, differential oil and brake-fluid replacement, along with wheel-alignment adjustment.

01
Four maintenance items in one visit
Engine oil, differential oil and brake fluid each maintain a different vehicle system. Wheel alignment was added so wheel direction could be checked during the same visit.
The work included draining the engine oil and replacing its filter, changing the rear-differential fluid, replacing brake fluid, and then measuring and adjusting toe.

02
Fluids were serviced at their respective systems
Engine oil was drained and the filter checked during replacement. This car uses a separate oil reservoir, so the service was carried out with attention to the correct points and drain path.
The rear differential uses fluid separate from the engine. Its service points were identified, and drained and fresh fluid were kept apart for inspection.
03
Brake-fluid replacement with the wheels removed
With the wheels removed, the existing brake fluid was drained and replaced. The calipers, hoses and work areas were checked as the service progressed at each wheel.
04
Front toe was matched left to right
Before adjustment, front toe measured 1.5mm left and 2.4mm right. Both values were in the machine's green range, but the sides differed by 0.9mm.
After adjustment, both sides measured 1.7mm. Camber was left unchanged because the technician judged that the dedicated parts required for further adjustment were not needed at this visit.

05
Fluid service and alignment completed
Engine oil and filter, differential oil and brake fluid were replaced. During alignment, the front-toe difference was matched left to right and camber was left in its existing position.
| Engine oil | Drained and replaced; filter checked |
|---|---|
| Differential oil | Rear-differential fluid replaced |
| Brake fluid | Replaced through the braking system |
| Wheel alignment | Front toe 1.5/2.4mm → 1.7/1.7mm; no additional camber adjustment |

AMG maintenance: questions and answers
What maintenance was carried out on this AMG GT Black Series?
Engine oil, differential oil and brake fluid were replaced, and the wheel alignment was adjusted.
What was adjusted during alignment?
Front toe was adjusted from 1.5mm left and 2.4mm right to 1.7mm on both sides. Both starting values were in the machine's green range, so this is a left-right matching adjustment rather than a failed-to-passed claim. Camber was left unchanged.
Can fluids and alignment be serviced in one visit?
We first organise the work around the car's history and current condition. This vehicle received engine oil, differential oil and brake-fluid replacement together with wheel-alignment adjustment during the same maintenance visit.
What information should I provide when booking?
Share the model, current mileage, recent maintenance history and the conditions in which any concern occurs. We can then outline the inspection scope and required service items.
